Tell us about your new build, extension or refurbishment. Send the form, ring the mobile or drop us an email, and you will be talking to the people who would actually do the work.
Every job we have ever done started with a conversation. Usually quite a short one.
There is no call centre here and no enquiry form that vanishes into a queue. Your message comes through to the office in Reigate and is read by someone who knows the diary, knows which sites are running and can tell you quickly whether we are the right firm for what you have in mind.
You will normally hear back the same working day. Write in the evening or over a weekend and you will hear from us on the next working day instead. If it is urgent, water coming in or something structural you are worried about, ring the mobile rather than sending an email. That is always the fastest way to reach us.
Nothing you send commits you to anything. Plenty of people get in touch a year before they are ready to build, simply to work out whether the idea stacks up and what it might cost. That is a sensible way to use us, and we are happy to talk it through long before anyone puts a date in a diary.
A few lines about the property and what you would like to do is plenty to start with. The more you can tell us, the more useful our first reply will be.
CHAS accredited, SSIP assessed and fully insured. Building since 1996.
Four steps, and you will know exactly where you stand at the end of each one.
We ring you back, or reply to your email, and ask a few questions about the property, what you want to do and when you would like it done. Ten minutes on the phone usually tells us both whether it is worth meeting.
We come to the property at a time that suits you, look at the building properly, take measurements and photographs and talk through what is possible. There is no charge for the visit and no obligation afterwards.
You get a written, itemised quotation setting out the work, the specification and the price, so you can see what is included and what is not. We go through it with you and answer anything that is not clear.
Once you are happy, we agree a start date, a programme and a payment schedule in writing before anyone lifts a tool. You will know who is coming, when they arrive and what happens in the first week.
Five things that turn a vague enquiry into a straight answer, usually on the first reply.
You do not need any of this to get in touch. But if you have it to hand, it saves a round of emails and gets you a proper answer sooner.
Office hours are simple. Getting hold of us outside them is simple too.
Our sites are usually running from eight in the morning, so an early call often catches us in the van rather than at a desk. That is fine, and it is frequently the quickest way to get an answer. If we are on a roof or with a client we will not always pick up, so leave a message or send a text and we will come back to you.
We are closed at weekends and on bank holidays. Anything that arrives then is picked up on the next working day, and nothing gets lost. If you are already a client and something goes wrong on site outside those hours, ring the mobile rather than waiting.
Most of our work sits within about half an hour of the base, and that closeness matters.
Being local means an early start on site, a short run back if something needs a second look after handover, and a team who already know how the planning departments and building control officers in this part of Surrey work. It also means the people who quote your job are the people you will see on it.
If your postcode is not on the list, ask anyway. We travel a little further for larger projects, and if a job really is too far for us to run properly we will say so rather than take it on and let you down.
